A green screen is where you use green screen to add a different background to add to the effect. It is also when you act on a green screen without using any background scenes which is later added to the effect to show the green screen shot.
I was asked to make a green screen project using different backgrounds to show that I was clicking my fingers. This was to show that I was ending up in different worlds using my fingers to create this effect. This also was to get the effect that I was supposed to be swimming into the water or possibly flying into the wall or something on those effects.
The tools that I used for this project was Adobe Premiere Pro. This was because it was one of the easiest software's to use. Also another tool that I used was ultra key, keying and pipette to green to create the effect. From here I had to add in the background without acting the scene out without the background.
The stages that I had to go through with creating a green screen was to go onto ultra key, keying and then choose the different effects to create the perfect green screen. The only problem that I had with doing this was that there was shadows that covered my background with me in it. I thought it went well overall.
The things that I liked about this project was the editing process. I liked this because it showed how to edit using the software without getting annoyed. I did get a bit annoyed with the editing process because it didn't go aswell as I thought it had gone. It kept on freezing/ it kept on not responding which I found annoying and frustrating. Also I liked this project because it made an excellent sound for the video. I enjoyed making the sound.
The things that could be improved with my green screen is the editing. I feel like some of the editing went as well as I thought it would have gone. This annoyed me because I was getting annoyed with the way that the editing in the end went. Also the shadows on my green screen didn't turn out well because it wouldn't disappear. Instead it kept appearing causing the irritation. I was really annoyed with this as there wasn't that much I could do about it. It annoyed me a little. Also with the fact that it wouldn't go on YouTube properly.
The sound effects that I used was my own music. I also used youtube for the odd effects/sound. I used youtube for the song for my church scene. I thought that this went well with the way that I captured the part of the song that I wanted. The sounds that I used the piano for was to play a little bit of Let it Go and the beach sound. I used youtube for the rest of the sounds to create the effects. The way that I created the water sound was that I did it myself. I used youtube for the main sound. Then I got a cup of water with a straw. To make the sound I blew on the straw with bubbles through the cup to create the effect. This sounded like fish was swimming through the sea. I found this very great when I came to editing it. It made the atmosphere seem real with the full music and effects. I loved it. I think this was my favourite sound that I created. I had a little problem with the sound because he levels of the sound was to high for my video/ green screen project.
I altered the sound by using Audacity to edit the sound to make it a better quality. I also sued Adobe Audition to edit the sound. I had to drag and drop the sound onto a different in a different palace on my video to the right place that I wanted it to go. I found this easy to do as I only had to drag and drop each sound. I was annoyed with editing the sound as the levels was quite high. To calm them down I had to minus the sound levels to 12 to stop any death ness from the fantastic and amazing sound. Overall, I liked acting on the green screen.

Green Screen effects
I have made sure that I have put each of my scenes in the order that I would like them ready for adding my amazing music. I think that my music went well because I used my own skills instead of using other people's music to add to my Green Screen. I have used my own music to show that I have a talent in doing this.
Also this shows how talented I am to be able to play this. I am very proud of my music. It took me quite a few attempts get the right tune that I wanted. I had to record Let It go about 2 times to get the right sound and volume as most of it was to quiet.
I wanted people to see how well I can play the piano by using it in my project. I feel as though people would be shocked but amazed. The water sound effect took a few attempts aswell as I kept on spilling my water for the effect.
The outtakes that I had between my effects that I created at home was that the water wouldn't stop spilling on me. This caused me to burst out in laughter. Also another outtake that I had with creating my effects was that the microphone didn't work properly. It didn't always reach the sound so I had to hold the microphone against the sound to capture the sound.

I have used my time outside of College to create some music using a piano. I have used my piano skills to add to my Green Screen. I have done this to add to the effect of changing to a different world every time I clicked my fingers.
The music that I have used for my green screen is a magical sound that I have recorded myself using a piano. Also I have created a very good water sound that I feel sounds like I am underwater. I have created this by recording some water in a cup whilst blowing some bubbles to create the water sound of some fishes breathing to gurgling. The way that I have created the water sound is by using YouTube. I have used this song to create the beach and water part of the sound. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8HUe3Myt1w ( Beachfront sound)
I have created a kind of snowy effect sound using my skills. I have done this by using the let it go song from Frozen to add to the scene. I haven't used it off youtube. In fact I have created it myself. I have sued my piano talent/skills to create the sound. First of all to create this sound I had to use youtube to find the piano tutorial which works, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmquDiQxcFU|( the tutorial). Next I had to write down the chords and notes to the song. Then what I did was I practised the song on the piano until I could play it. For my green screen I used my version of let it go without words to use for the snow as it looked like a snow effect. I had to edit al of my sound using audacity as I created most of it myself.
For the scene of the church with me reaching for my bible it shows that I am Christian. It proves that God does exist and that I proud to be who I am. It makes me precious and also I know that there is life after death even if people don't know. I have used a personal song that represents this to show my religion. It isn't offensive but it shows God's true life and that he exists, it also shows that Church exists and that you end up in Heaven. The song that I have used for this scene is to show Christianity and al of the great things it does. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6ZTEsBqyDY

Green Screen Editing
Today I have done some editing for my green screen which didn't go as well as I wanted it to. I worked by myself to make sure that I knew what I was doing. I had to make sure that I could edit my video to get the best result.
The process of editing on a green is to click on effects then keying first. Then you click on Ultra Key and Drag and Drop onto the green screen to get the effect that you want/need for the perfect green screen. Then you have to press the pipette tool also known as the small like colour tool. You have to make sure that it is green otherwise you won't be able to add in the background that you want instead of the boring green screen in the background.
Another effect that you can do to make your Green Screen interesting is to Choke and Soften to clean up the green screen more. To do this you have to click on Effects and a motion tool. I am not sure what it is called exactly. This makes the video better to view as it doesn't slow down the video to much especially if you don't want to slow it down.
To save your film. Video you have to go to file and save. Then you have to go onto File, Export/ The file that you need to export it to is Hdv12.64. This way the video exports properly. Then you have to queue in the line for it to export before saving onto the hard drive. Then you need to save your video onto the hard drive. Then you upload your video to youtube once you have finished editing.

Idea for Green Screen
The idea that I have had for the green screen project is to do something to do with Mr Bean. This is because I like Mr Bean, also I feel as though this would work well as a green screen being chased by Mr Bean through Green Screen. I think that this would have looked good to have as a video. I thought of this idea because I felt as though this would have worked well. I would have enjoyed making a kind of a comedy short film using green screen to show me being chased by Mr Bean. This is one of the ideas that I have come up with whilst thinking of some ideas for the Green Screen Project.
As a group we came up with the simple idea of me clicking my fingers and ending up in another place which was a good idea. This is a good idea because it works very well with the green screen. Also I like this idea because it shows the good sue of green screen using our own work instead of someone else's.

Green Screen Project
Today I have edited my green screen project for my final video. I have done the simple editing because I am not as confident with the editing. I like the fact that I have posed for the video/film because I don't mind being in front of the camera. I rather like being in front of the camera. The software that I have used to edit my green screen is Adobe Premiere which worked well but I still prefer Movie maker because I have found it easier to use. Movie maker doesn't use as many complicated kind of effects unlike premiere which uses a lot more which I struggled. I like each of the shots that I have used for my project because I feel as though I am in a movie like an actress, with the way that I have acted out each scene pretending that there is something. I enjoyed being on the green screen because I could pretend that I was in the place that I was supposed to be acting out. I enjoyed it a lot, I would do it again. I have added the background that I want to use for my green screen. This worked well and better with the sound as it sounded like you was actually there.

Research
What is a green screen? A green or a blue screen is a background where you can place your object or person/actor/actress. This allows you to add any type of background that you would like including a forest to show this effect. The green or blue screen is edited out so you can just see the final effect without the background colour.
How does it work? A green screen works by letting you act out any type of scene without using the actual scene. The way that wires work is by having people holding onto them to make sure that the actor or actress doesn't fall and hurt themselves. For a green screen or blue screen stunt doubles are used so the real actor or actress don't harm themselves. This allows you to add any type of background that you would like including a forest to show this effect.

Name 3 Films that use this effect? Three Films that use this effect is Ugly Betty, Doctor Who and Mr Bean. These are just three of the many Films that use a green/blue screen. The green or blue screen is edited out so you can just see the final effect without the background colour Wires are also used to highlight some-one or something flying through the air which is edited out later in the editing process.

This image shows the wired effect of the green or blue screen before the editing effect. As you can see the actor is pretending to be in the air but he isn't really. This shows that the actor has had to not look at the floor/ground but the place he is supposed to show the flying effect. From this photo the actor isn't very high - he doesn't need to be.
This image indicates the before and after effect of the green screen. The right image is the before effect and the left image is the after effect. From this image you can tell the difference between the acting scene and the editing image. It gives the effect that the actor and the actress are really in the scene. Clearly this image shows that the caption at the bottom of the left image has been edited in.
This image highlights that in Doctor Who Green Screen or a Blue Screen is constantly used to show the Doctor's life, and how dangerous he is. This also highlights that the actor (in this case Matt Smith) is in a scene with a hidden background. It gives the effect that Matt Smith is excited to be acting on a green screen or the fact that he has found something interesting pretending not to look at the green screen. I can link my magazine advert to the green screen because it uses green screen to show the life of the bar.

The one minute idea that I have come up whilst using green is a doctor who adventure. I would create this by having the actor or actress coming out of the Tardis with their figure showing their obsession with the doctor, wakes up and ends up finding out that it is just a dream.
